Developments
Over the summer break, The Beacon has had a series of transformative developments, enhancing our facilities in preparation to welcome back our Beacon Community. Among the most significant of improvements is a brand-new play area for our Nursery and Reception boys set within our safe and inspiring Early Year’s environment. This features new flooring, vibrant flower plantings and most importantly, some brand-new exciting and stimulating play equipment and apparatus for our boys to enjoy.
Complementing this outdoor upgrade is our newly refurbished Cooking and Nutrition classroom; a dynamic and interactive space designed to facilitate hands-on learning experiences. This refurbished area aims to promote healthy eating habits and culinary skills among our boys. Support for these enhancements has been provided from the generous donations that our Beacon Parents’ Society have initiated as well as fundraising from The Beacon to Paris Peloton. A huge thank you to our wonderful Beacon Community for all your support with this superb project.
Additionally, the installation of new pathways has improved accessibility, ensuring that everyone can easily navigate the school.
Solar panels have also been installed, reducing our carbon footprint at The Beacon. General maintenance efforts, including paint work, have further revitalised the space, ensuring that The Beacon remains a welcoming and engaging place for all our community.
These developments showcase The Beacon’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and sustainable community environment.
