Author Chris Bradford Visits The Beacon

We were delighted to welcome Chris Bradford to The Beacon. Author of the multi-million copy best-selling Bodyguard book series and award-winning ‘Young Samari’ series.

Chris gave a thrilling interactive presentation to our Upper School boys about his books. During the presentation the boys learnt exactly what it takes to be a bodyguard and even learnt a few intense training techniques. The purpose of these demonstrations was to showcase how to be a ‘Method Author’ something Chris takes very seriously in order to get the writing of his characters as accurate as possible.

The boys were immersed into Chris’s world with audio, videos, live demonstrations and even a show and tell with a real Samurai sword worth over £10,000.

Chris also spoke about his newer, shorter and punchier book ‘Lunar’ a story from ‘out of this world.’ As well as his new ‘Ninja’ series.
