We are delighted to announce our newly appointed Head Boy Team for 2024-2025. Congratulations to Ben F (Head Boy), Thomas R (Deputy Head Boy) and Thor K (Deputy Head Boy) who are all thrilled to represent the school this academic year.
The Head Boy Team play a crucial role in making positive changes within our school community, meeting regularly with Mr Baker to initiate their ideas. We welcome our new Head Boy Team and look forward to seeing leadership qualities that they will bring to their new roles.
We spoke to the team to find out a little more about them.
Ben F (Head Boy)
Ben has been a Beacon boy since Reception and is entering his tenth year here. He is pleased to be appointed as Head Boy and the qualities that he feels he will bring to the role are his great sense of fun, responsible attitude, kindness and imagination. His hobbies include drama, reading and Lego. His favourite subjects are Maths, Drama and Classics.
Thomas R (Deputy Head Boy)
Thomas started The Beacon in Reception and the key quality he feels he will bring to his new role is excellent social skills, especially among our younger year groups. He hopes to add a lot of fun to the school community. His hobbies include Lego, cricket and playing the piano. His favourite subjects are Maths, Cooking and Nutrition and Games.
Thor K (Deputy Head Boy)
Thor is also in his tenth year at The Beacon, having started in Reception. He hopes to bring happiness and lots of fun to the school community. His hobbies include sport, particularly football as he plays for Chelsea youth team, and playing the piano. His favourite subjects are Games, DT, Maths and Cooking and Nutrition.
Our new team already have plans to make their mark. Their first aim is to reinstate the ‘Walk to School Week’ and to bring back the legendary ice-cream machine awarded for House prizes and treats. Good luck, boys – we look forward to witnessing the positive changes you make over the next academic year!
