The Revengers!

Our Year 8 boys wowed us last week with their stunning production of ‘The Revengers’. An ambitious production and staged in the round, the boys rose to the challenge and pulled off an incredible run of first-class performances over three consecutive evenings.
The show is about Shakespeare’s infamous ‘weird sisters’ who are tired of being stuck on a moor in Scotland and not even having been given names, they finally decide to take revenge on the man who penned them. Literacy history is turned upside down as the witches take over the complete works of Shakespeare and make their way into the real world…
The exceptional acting was dramatised by the spectacular special effects and stage lighting. There was a clever injection of humour built into The Revengers storyline.
Thank you to our phenomenal Performing Arts Team for working tirelessly to ensure productions like this can happen. A special mention to all the staff and parent helpers who also gave up their time to assist the show.
