We expect that boys have lots of toys at home that they no longer play with and that clutter up your homes. The good news is that the Chiltern Toy Bank are looking for donations this Autumn for Christmas. The Chiltern Toy Bank is a brilliant local charity that gives new or pre-loved toys to local families in need. Last Christmas, the Chiltern Toy Bank delivered presents to over 400 local children! This year, with the current pandemic, there is an even greater need.
The Toy Bank are looking for good quality, undamaged toys that would make a great gift to receive on Christmas morning. Please ensure that toys are clean, that jigsaws and games have all the pieces in their box, soft toys are washed, books not scribbled in or torn and remote control toys have their controllers.
The donation points are open from Monday 11 November until Friday 6 December at:
These are all subject to individual opening times. More information about the Chiltern Toybank collection can be found on their website.
If you would like to volunteer to collect, clean, sort, wrap or deliver, you can also contact Eddie’s mum on eleanorayres@mac.com.
